About Seafarer's Mission

Champlain Christian Center Seafarers’ Mission is located next to the Bayside Marine Terminal on the beautiful St. Croix River in Southwestern New Brunswick, Canada. This is a deep water port with adjacent facilities for handling and storing commodities which require refrigeration.  It is an interdenominational mission, serving seafarers from around the world as well as truckers and port workers.

The mission offers three phone rooms, two computers with free wireless high speed internet, phone cards to buy, free good used clothing, stuffed toys to take home to the little ones, tea, coffee, snacks, cookies, and pop for visitors. We also have a pool table, table soccer, guitar, chess, CD and tape player, electric keyboard, basketball net and ball.

We give free to seafarers: magazines, Bibles, books, and we have a supply of the “Jesus” film on VHS and DVD in many languages.

There are many people who make all this possible through donations of money and donations in kind.  The mission has no paid staff, the administration and operation of its work is done entirely by volunteers.
